About Me

As a passionate photographer from the scenic landscapes of Wales, photography is a cherished pursuit of mine, though not my primary profession. My specialty lies in capturing the  beauty of coastal vistas and the delicate allure of flowers, although I occasionally explore other genres of photography such as interior and exterior architecture and gardens, and flowers.

My approach to photography is fluid, allowing me to embrace experimentation. When it comes to coastal scenes, my aim is to encapsulate the essence of an idyllic day by the coast, infusing the image with lifelike vibrancy—just enough to make the colours sing without overwhelming the senses. In the realm of black and white imagery, I gravitate towards stark contrasts and rich textures that make each detail stand out.

In contrast to some of my contemporaries, I practice restraint in digital manipulation. I believe in preserving the authenticity of the moment captured; hence, I refrain from adding elements such as skies or components that were absent in the original scene. The images you see are a vibrant reflection of reality as it was when I released the shutter.
